Located just outside of Champaign, IL, Prairie Fruits Farm and Creamery combines excellent animal husbandry and land stewardship with award-winning cheese making technique. Fresh chevre is available year round, and each season brings its own special releases from the creamy, ash dusted Black Goat to their nutty, tomme-style Moonglo. Prairie Fruits was started in 2004 by Leslie Cooperband and Wes Jarrell, and their vision is currently being carried forward by Lauren and Jeffrey Brokish. Beyond the work of raising goats and making phenomenal cheeses, Prairie Fruits also offers on-farm stays through Airbnb and is the site of seasonal restaurant Caprae.
